The project program of the students of the East West University, Bangladesh has to take place in a business firm, organization or an institution with an objective to provide a first hand experience to the students of the same. After the completion of the project program each student has to produce a report. Therefore, this report is undertaken as a part of the BBA program and will be prepared in compliance with the instructions of the respective faculty member of the School of Business of the East West University, Bangladesh. This report will describe the authoress experience during the semester project program undertaken in the Gulshan Branch of EXIM Bank Ltd. and a scope to analyze the future of the saving schemes of the Bank.

This study on Know ledge Management authorized by Mr. Hasan Shirazi, the Supervisor of BUS 498, was submitted on May 4, 2005. The report, on Knowledge Management, is completely based on the materials from web sites, KM definition s and concepts fr-om secondary materials like books, articles, and journals. I have the keen interest to cover different aspect of KM strategies, values and so many other relevant areas but due to proper data about KM and its practices and lack of time, I have to limit my report to centripetal. In this report, the discussion is stared form the knowledge and its categories. After that, I defined the knowledge management, historical background of KM, generations of KM, and some principles of KM. Then comes the secret ingredient of KM. In the next part, the report would focus into different components, importance and benefits of knowledge management. It also focus on the return on investment of KM. by
following that, it represents the value of knowledge management, challenges and implementations of knowledge management. Then it depicts the Bangladeshi perspective of knowledge management. At last,  generated some recommendations from different point of views.Therefore, this project work paper covers all these important aspects of Knowledge Management that might be fruitful for learning and doing
further er knowledge management research.

<summary type="text">A Comparative Analysis on Biman Bangladesh Airlines

Bangladesh Biman, the national Airlines of Bangladesh could never create any significant impact in its business, either locally or globally. As a series of failure causes, number of domestic destination either have been closed , or on the verge closing ; where those "closed destination" are being well utilized by some private airlines like GMG. Same is the case with regional or international destination also. Biman the national flag carrier of Bangladesh has started its journey from scratch virtually with no aircraft, no ancillaries. It came into operation immediately after the war of independence. Despite many odds on its journey towards a long and challenging way to progress. Biman has been able to establish its reputation as an airline of welcome smile and an ocean of hospitality. Biman now carries the nation's flag to 8 South Asian destinations, 6 SouthEast and Far-Eastern destinations, 9 destinations to Gulf and Middle-East region and 6 European and North American points. A steady progress has been made with better services ensuring increased passengers. To make Biman passengers feel "Once Biman always Biman" the airline has recently brought in some qualitative changes in its service concept. Biman has been aiming in achieving the goal of being truly international commercially viable airline of the region with its warmth and friendliness , care, safety record, traditional hospitality and comfort of the services it offered . Biman in now flying even higher with great pride around the globe with the
bi-colour, the nations The primary customers in the aviation sector are the government-owned Biman Airlines and the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) , also a government entity. Biman has a fleet of about a dozen aircraft, including DC-10s and Airbus 310s for mid to long-haul flights . Biman performs much of its own maintenance, presenting opportunities for sales of spare parts, including engines. Two Airbus A310-300 aircraft (with U.S. engines) are operating on Biman's Middle East routes. To transport pilgrims to Mecca from Bangladesh , Biman leases at least two aircraft annually. Biman has been planning to buy additional long-haul aircraft since FY1997, as well as a variety of aircraft for shorter routes , but funding constraints have delayed the addition of the much-needed aircraft.

<summary type="text">An overview of Grameenphone Ltd.

This report was a requirement to complete the "Project Work". The purpose of this research project was to represent an overview of grameenphone. The research paper represents the different types of products, services and functional activity among the various departments of the organization as well as the financial overview of Grameenphone. Thus, the topic for the research is, "An overview of GrarneenPhone Ud.", was approved by the faculty advisor, Tanbir Ahmed Chowdhury. The second section gives an overview of the teleoom industry and an overview of GrarneenPhone Ud. in Bangladesh. GrameenPhone is one of the largest foreign direct investments in Bangladesh. The oompany, after its inception in 1996, has grown rapidly into the leading mobile phone service provide of the country. As a fast growing company catering to a growing oonsumer base GrameenPhone has been required to invest on capital assets to meet customer expectations. The decisions made by the company at present are crucial in securing its future position as the leading mobile phone service provider in the country. Thus to evaluate the viability of various projects analysis is done from different perspectives. The third section of the report describes the different functions among the departments and the organ gram of grameenphone. Its also discuss the management profile of grameenphone. After that I have emphasized on the financial overview of grameenphone. In that section I have classified different risk factors and how the risk should be mitigated. The next chapters discuss the observations and recommendation.
